On 28th July 2023, the "YuanQi Hui" Seminar on Discussion and Exchanges of Low Carbon Technology in the Parks was successfully held in Mingshui Economic and Technological Development Zone in Jinan City of Shandong province. The event, hosted by the Green Partnerships of Industrial Parks in China (hereinafter referred to as the GPIPC), saw technological enterprises listed on Catalogue of Low-carbon Technologies to Be Promoted by the State(Fourth Batch) released by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of PRC present in the park, and communicate with the representatives of the parks of Mingshui Economic and Technological Development Zone, Suzhou Industrial Park, Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area(TEDA), Tongcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone in Anhui province, as well as the key energy-consuming companies in the Zone. Officials from Division of General Affairs of Department of Climate Change of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, leaders of the Administrative Committee of Mingshui Economic and Technological Development Zone, and relevant experts attended the event.
National economic-technological development areas, serving as the main battlefield for industrial clustering, provide abundant application scenarios for the implementation of low-carbon technologies. Based on the technological needs of the park's green and low-carbon development, this event saw five companies invited among the Catalogue of Low-carbon Technologies to Be Promoted by the State(Fourth Batch) conduct technological roadshows, namely Cosin Solar Technology Co., Ltd. (Cosin Solar for short) in Zhejiang province, Suzhou BoMo Thermal Energy Products Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Jinyi Ventilation Technology Co., Ltd., JA Solar Technology Co., Ltd., and Anhui Jili Electric Technology Co., Ltd.. The activity receiving a warm response, participating companies have expressed strong intentions for multiple technological cooperation and exchanges.
This event aims to implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, as well as the policy guidelines for achieving the dual-carbon goals with the support of science and technology. Leveraging the leading role of national economic-technological development areas, the event accelerates the promotion and application of advanced and mature technologies, steps up their achievement transformation, and bridge the "last kilometre" between the technology supply side and the demand side, enabling low-carbon technologies serving low-carbon parks. Moreover, the "Initiative on Green and Low-carbon Technologies for Green Development of Development Areas" was launched at the scene. Next, the relevant development will further track the application effect of Catalogue of Low-carbon Technologies to Be Promoted by the State(Fourth Batch), and continue to promote and support the technology transformation in other national-level economic-technological development areas across China.
